Why a croft?
Crofting is small-scale by definition — a few acres, worked hard, by the people who live on them. That suits us.
We're not trying to feed the country. We're trying to feed the neighbourhood: eggs that were laid this morning, veg that was in the ground at breakfast, honey from the moor you can see from the gate.
The first season of produce arrives in 2027. Until then, this journal is the next best thing.
